Intro

Hi, my name is Chris Walton. I’m a communications professional, and I’ve primarily worked on strategic communications and issue advocacy campaigns. Looking ahead, I have a strong desire to continue work for issue-based campaigns and purpose-driven organizations.

Work

My favorite internship in college was working on an Atlanta mayoral campaign in summer of 2017. I liked it in particular because of its fast pace, focus on local issues, and interactions with voters. After work Home Depot and a political communications agency, I now work at a community development financial institution (CDFI) on our communications and public policy team.
